Nagarajan Sivakami

Sivakami Nagarajan is currently working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Social Work, Central University of Tamil Nadu, Thiruvarur in South India. She has a Doctorate in Social Work with M.Phil in Women’s Studies. Her research interests are Social Inclusion & Exclusion, Women and Development and Participatory researches with the vulnerable groups.She has been recognised in the media like Times of India, The Hindu, for her contribution in the field of community development through self-help groups. Her forthcoming publication is a co-authored, edited book on Health Safety and well-being of the workers in the informal Sector:Lessons for emerging economies, Springer publications.(2019).
