Johny Augustine

Dr. Johny Augustine is a Professor at St. Ambrose University in Davenport, Iowa. Dr. Augustine’s research and advocacy focus on the complex interactions between poverty, disaster recovery, and social policy with an emphasis on empowerment oriented social work practice. He recently co-authored an article with Enid Cox entitled “The U.S. Criminal Justice System: A Role for Radical Social Work” in the Journal of Progressive Human Services.
