Arindam Laha, Ph.D (Economics) has been teaching Economics at the Department of Commerce, The University of Burdwan, West Bengal since the last 9 years. He has written three books and has published a number of research articles in internationally reputed journals of Social Science viz., Pakistan Development Review, Bangladesh Development Studies, International Journal of Public Administration, Finance India, Indian Journal of Agricultural Economics, as also in various edited volumes published by Routledge Publication (London and New York), Cambridge Scholars Publishing (UK), IGI Global (USA).
