This statement argues that SSE can play a crucial role in the realization of the 2030 Agenda and the SDGs by promoting inclusive and sustainable development through concrete social, institutional and technological innovations and practices. The linkages between SSE and all 17 SDGs, outlined in detail in the matrix below, draw attention to its potential as an alternative model of development that can address the structural underpinnings of exclusionary and unsustainable development.
