Abstract - EN
Market access is a major problem for organizations in the social and solidarity economy (SSE). This entry examines access to different types of markets, including: business to business (B2B); business to consumer (B2C); and government regulated markets (for government purchases, social goods and public utilities). It explains problems of market access encountered by social and solidarity economy enterprises and organizations (SSEOEs) and indicates how the SSE sector and allies, along with governments, can facilitate market access through good practices and supportive public policy.
