Welcome to the online platform of the SSE Knowledge Hub for the SDGs!

An initiative of the UN Inter-Agency Task Force on Social and Solidarity Economy (UNTFSSE), implemented by the United Nations Research Institute for Social Development (UNRISD), the SSE Knowledge Hub for the SDGs aims to enhance awareness of and contribute to the body of knowledge on social and solidarity economy (SSE) as a means of implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
This free, open-access online platform is a repository for research-based outputs produced by or for the SSE Knowledge Hub for the SDGs. Users can sort the resources posted on the platform by language, SDG, and country. A free-text search function is also available.
Yet the Knowledge Hub is much more than a repository of research outputs. To learn more about another research project recently launched as part of this initiative, go to the Opportunities and challenges of statistics on SSE project’s page.
In May 2020, the Knowledge Hub Advisory Group was established to strengthen strategic guidance of the Knowledge Hub activities and active collaboration with members and observers of the UNTFSSE. Besides UNRISD (as the implementing agency of the Knowledge Hub), it is composed of two members and two observers of the Task Force. For the first two years, these are: UNDP (ART Initiative), OECD, GSEF, and CIRIEC-International. Please find more information on the Advisory Group and its members here.
